My work is deeply inspired by my connection to the natural world. Water and light are enduring motifs in my practise, reflecting my reverence for the ocean, and the way light transforms landscapes.

Belinda Dorey

I’m a full time artist based in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, working in oil and pastel to explore the dynamic movement of water, the ever-changing light of coastal environments, and the deep sense of memory and place these landscapes evoke.
